“Pinoy Big Brother” couple Tommy Esguerra and Miho Nishida have parted ways after more than a year.
Star Magic, which handles their careers, released a statement via ABS-CBN: “Both parties remain friends but have agreed to spend time apart. Miho and Tommy ask for your continuous support for their individual careers.” However, the statement did not disclose the reason for the couple’s breakup.
In 2015, both Esguerra and Nishida, who are called “ToMiho” as a love team, became contestants in the reality TV show “Pinoy Big Brother 737.” Nishida emerged as the season’s winner alongside Jimboy Martin.

Esguerra, 21, and Nishida, 24, became an official couple in December that year, after Esguerra asked her to be his girlfriend in an episode of “It’s Showtime.”
They starred in the film “Foolish Hearts” and made a cameo in the ABS-CBN series “Langit Lupa.” The couple was last snapped together in “Pinoy Big Brother Big Night” in March. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
