Thrill-seekers on Thursday (Wednesday in the US) lost their calm upon seeing Captain Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp, greet them inside a “Pirates of the Carribean” ride in Disneyland, California.
Instead of Sparrow’s animatronic version, startled visitors interacted with the actor himself, who was fully clad in his buccaneer ensemble. Depp recited some of his lines from the upcoming film “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” the series’ fifth installment.
Videos of Depp’s kooky gig have flooded Twitter and Instagram over the past few days.

In the movie, Sparrow voyages to locate the almighty artifact Trident of Poseidon and dismantle the vicious reign of Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem). Salazar, who hails from the Devil’s Triangle, leads a syndicate of ghost pirates whose mission is to massacre all living pirates including Sparrow.
Sparrow will be aided by Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), Joshamee Gibbs (Kevin McNally), Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario) and Henry Turner (Brenton Thwaites).
