WATCH: Coco Martin surprises bed-ridden fan in hospital

Staying true to his selfless character he portrays in ABS-CBN’s “Ang Probinsyano,” Coco Martin visited a hospitalized fan on Wednesday.
In a video that’s spinning on social media, the 35-year-old actor brought flowers to Rosita Espiritu, an elderly woman confined in a hospital in Quezon City. Diagnosed with pneumonia and having suffered from stroke seven times, Espiritu’s final wish for her recent 88th birthday was to meet her idol.
A few days ago, Martin said in an Instagram post that he would visit Espiritu shortly after his trips to the US and Canada.

Espiritu’s plight was known after a Facebook video of her celebrating her Coco Martin-themed birthday went viral. In the video, which was also posted on Martin’s Instagram account, nurses and relatives print out pictures of Martin and throw a surprise birthday bash for Espiritu. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
