LOOK: Filipina vlogger’s lucky encounter with ‘Riverdale’ cast

Several fans of the American series “Riverdale” were green with envy that a Filipina video blogger snagged a lucky encounter with the show’s cast.

Janina Vela, an 18-year-old who has charmed at least 258,400 followers on YouTube for her make-up tutorials, flew to California last week to attend the widely known Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

During the event, she got the chance to meet some of the stars of “Riverdale,” including Cole Sprouse (Jughead), Ross Butler (Reggie), Lili Reinhart (Betty), Casey Cott (Kevin) and Camila Mendes (Veronica). She posted her picture with the gang on Instagram, which resulted in an online meltdown of Filipino fans’ hearts.

“Do you know who can rest in peace now? my Riverdale heart,” she captioned the photo. Vela also updated her other social media accounts with her “dreamy selfie” with Sprouse, which again made netizens envy her.

Noted as the highest-grossing music fest in the US, Coachella was headlined by acts by Lady Gaga, Lorde, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar. Celebrities were spotted during the event, including Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd.
