“Hindi namin ipinagdamot si Ellie—alam ni Jake ‘yan,” stressed Jaclyn Jose, reacting to reports that Jake Ejercito—through his lawyer Ferdinand Topacio—had filed a petition for joint custody of Ellie, his daughter with Andi Eigenmann.

At a recent press conference for her coming GMA 7 series “D’Originals,” a shocked Jaclyn belied claims made by Jake’s camp that he missed Ellie’s graduation day, because Andi—the acclaimed actress’ daughter—gave him the wrong date. She likewise asked for sobriety, and vowed “to fight for my granddaughter.”

“Let’s all think things over, because the welfare of a smart, kind and loving 5-year-old girl is on the line here. The sweetness, the happiness Ellie has right now—I will never allow anyone to take that away from her!” she said.—ALLAN POLICARPIO
