Megan Young and Mikael Daez took a break from their hectic schedules for a beach getaway in Maldives.
On Tuesday, the beauty queen-turned-actress posted photos of her recent vacation with her actor-boyfriend of six years. “Today, we finally saw what the fuss was all about. If anyone out there is wondering whether the Maldives is worth it, the answer is yes!” Daez captioned his sunny portrait with Young, 27, as they pose on the serene shoreline of the South Asian nation. “Doesn’t matter where you stay, just make sure you jump in the water and enjoy.”
The couple spent time sunbathing and floating on the crystal blue waters.
After years of speculation, Daez, 30, publicly admitted his relationship with Young and explained how he maintained their low-key romance throughout these years.
“Magugulat ang mga tao dahil hindi nila alam kung gaano katagal na kami (People will be shocked because they don’t know how long our relationship is)…This is the first time I’m putting it on record,” he told reporters at a press conference last February, cited by PEP.
He added, “Ako, I wanted to respect her space and at the same time, parang nasanay na tayo na hindi ko na sinasabi (For me, I wanted to respect her space and at the same time, I’m used to not divulging my relationships). Gianna Francesca Catolico
