Fans cheer Kris Aquino comeback, international project hinted
A grateful Kris Aquino celebrated with her fans on Instagram the success of her travel-themed show “Trip ni Kris”.
The TV host-actress thanked her fans for watching the two-hour show which aired on April 9, and for their continued support of her.
The new show of the “queen of all media” marks her comeback to the Kapuso network, where she previously co-hosted the showbiz talk show “Startalk” with Boy Abunda and Lolit Solis, at the earlier part of her career.
Aquino turned to Instagram to officially express her gratitude for the public’s favorable reception of “Trip ni Kris”.
“Thank you to all who stayed up late to watch the entire #TripNiKris… Hindi n’yo lang alam (You just don’t know) how your faith in me [and] your effort to watch my return to TV has given my heart so much joy,” she posted.

Article continues after this advertisement“I am now exercising every ounce of self-control to not share with all of you my extraordinary good news. Because you have been part of my life journey. But until I sign the contract, [have a] meet[ing] in Los Angeles on Easter Monday, and formally seal the deal, I need to 100 percent respect the NDA we signed,” she said.
Proving the fans’ strong support for “the queen” were their congratulatory comments on her post.
After almost 20 years of working for the Kapamilya network, Aquino officially left ABS-CBN last year. She was reportedly set to do a project with APT network, closely related with rival network GMA-7. However, her transfer to another station had only been confirmed with the official airing of her new show. JB
