Rise and shine, Marvin-Jolina fans–Jolina Magdangal might be cooking a big-screen gambit with on-screen partner Marvin Agustin.
In Tuesday’s episode of ABS-CBN daytime show “Magandang Buhay,” the actress gave her mushy “yes” when asked if she liked to pair with Agustin for the sequel of their 1998 rom-com “Labs Kita, Okey Ka Lang.”
“Oo naman, Walang patumpik-tumpik pa, yes! (Of course, with no hesitance, yes!),” Magdangal said.
Just after she and the actor-restauranteur starred in the primetime drama “Flordeliza” in 2014, Magdangal admitted that she missed reciting her romantic lines to Agustin years ago.
“Kasi nakaka-miss din ang movie with Marvin (Because I miss making a movie with Marvin),” she said. “Ako din, na-e-excite ako. Pwede. Possible ‘yan in the future (Me too, I feel excited. We can do that. It can be a possibility in the future).”
Both hinted at their possible comeback last week when Magdangal posted a photo of her meeting with the production team of Star Magic. “It was a very successful meeting/pitching of a story for a movie…I am so excited,” Magdangal captioned.
But it was Agustin’s clue that made their longtime fans scream with glee. “Yahoo! I loved the story and I missed working with my favorite love team [partner] already,” he commented.
