Björk debuts virtual reality video for ‘Notget’
Icelandic art-pop singer Björk has unleashed a vivid virtual reality video for the track titled “Notget” from her 2015 LP, “Vulnicura”.
The six minute, 20-second-long music video is directed by Warren Du Perez and Nick Thornton Jones, and shows an animated avatar of the singer as a digitally enhanced creature, dancing within a vibrant ocean to the orchestral sounds of the record.
“Notget” is the latest track to receive the VR treatment, following “Black Lake”, “Stonemilker” and a trailer for her “Family” clip. Björk will soon bring the VR experience to life during a 17-night concert event in Los Angeles.
A teaser of the “Notget” video premiered last year at the Airwaves Festival in Iceland. JB
