In a comment on one of her posts, Barretto, 37, admitted that she and Yan’s sister Tina Marie decided to sell some of Rico Yan’s personal belongings.

“Tina Marie and I thought that its time to let go of some of his things [and] clothes. We will be transferring in a few months and I’ve to get rid of so [many] things,” Barretto said, adding that she intended to organize a weekend garage sale for some of Yan’s clothes.

Yan passed away on March 29, 2002, due to acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis while vacationing in a resort in Palawan. Yan and Barretto topbilled romantic films such as “Got 2 Believe,” “Flames: The Movie” and “Dahil Mahal na Mahal Kita.”  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
