Claudine Barretto posts 2 other love letters from ex-BF Rico Yan
The trip down memory lane continues.
A week after posting a love letter from her former boyfriend Rico Yan which went viral, actress Claudine Barretto took to Instagram again to share two letters she received from the late actor.
The first letter, which was undated and posted late Sunday night, contained a message from the actor apologizing to Barretto that he could not meet her in a supposedly prescheduled meet-up.
In the caption, the actress wrote: “As Promised my Palanggas.this is from.@tinamarieyan& i.#sistersforlife❤️”
Tina is the sister of the late actor.
Article continues after this advertisementYan wrote the first of the two new letters in a personalized stationery. It read: “Baby, I’m sorry that I couldn’t wait for you to arrive. Medyo may problem si Miguel and he needs to talk to me. So if it’s okay with you, wait for me na lang by mga 12 mn. I don’t suppose it’ll take that long naman eh. In the meantime, try watching the disc. I’m sure you’ll like it. I also left the arroz caldo in”

In the letter, Yan gushed about the good time he had with Barretto the night before, even calling the actress as his “bombshell girlfriend.”
The actor penned the letter with the name “Puppy.”
The letter read: “Dear Pumpkin, Hi, there! I went ahead na. I wanted to wake up to say goodbye to you personally, but I guess, the wine was a bit too strong for you. So instead, I wrote you this note.”
“Thank you for the wonderful dinner―I had such a great time!! And you were right (again!)–the movie was nice. I sincerely hope that we could do this more often. Enjoy your sleep―I know you’re tired and we could do this more often.”
“Enjoy your sleep―I know you’re tired an you need to rest. So just call when you wake up, ok? And I’ll see you tonight. Again, thank you so much for last night, my bombshell girlfriend. I enjoyed every minute of it!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!”
In her caption for the second letter, Barretto revealed the reason why she’s sharing the love letters she received from the actor: “@tinamarieyan only to make RY’s fans happy fr @tinamarieyan.”
The letters have garnered more than thousand of likes from fans as of this writing.
The love team of Yan and Barretto was one of the hit showbiz couples during the 90s.
Yan died in his sleep due to hemorrhagic pancreatitis on March 29, 2002.
