Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina took an “early bird” summer vacation at the Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The Filipino beauty queen flaunted her bronze-colored beach body in several photos on her Instagram account. She also spent quality time with her family.

“New week, new tan,” Medina said. “Dream in colors.”

After finishing sixth in this year’s Miss Universe pageant held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, Medina has spent most of her time traveling around the world. She had toured Brunei with her family and joined an Asian cruise with her boyfriend, Marx Topacio.

Show-biz offers are on the way for Medina, who admitted that she was open to star in films, commercials and soap operas.

“I hope so, I’m not closing my doors for that,” she told PEP recently.  “Well, let’s see kung anong magandang offer (which are the good offers) and then let’s explore. I’m willing to try anything. I’m open naman.”

She hopes to work with several veteran actors and actresses and learn helpful tips from them. “Lahat ng mga beteranong artista sana maka-work ko soon. And ma-explore ko yung pagiging magaling nilang artista at mahawaan nila ako (I want to work with all the veteran actors soon and I want to explore their expertise in acting and be influenced by them).”  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
