WATCH: Gyllenhaal rings Reynolds to prove ‘bromance’ to TV host
Here’s another piece of evidence that Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds always have each other’s backs.
In an appearance on Seth Meyer’s “Late Show” on Friday, Meyers asked the actor about his seemingly uncanny friendship with Reynolds, who stars with him in the sci-fi film “Life.”
To prove his “bromance” with the fellow actor, Gyllenhaal tried to reach Reynolds through FaceTime, only to realize he was offline. Meyers banked on his opinion and declared Gyllenhaal’s friendship with Reynolds “non-existent.” Meyers bullied, “You don’t know Ryan Reynolds.”

However, Reynolds returned Gyllenhaal’s call while Meyers took a break to adjust his microphone. “Seth [Meyers] is not here because he didn’t believe we were friends,” Gyllenhaal mentioned while sitting in Meyer’s chair.
“Here’s what I’m doing…pushing baby strollers,” Reynolds responded, much to the audience’s glee. “I’m gonna get my lips done, so I’ll see you later.”
