Hugh Jackman proves that a real superhero not only unleashes powers when the director yells, “Lights, camera, action!”

On Tuesday, the 48-year-old actor posted a behind-the-scenes clip of him recording voices for a scene for the film “Logan.” Inside the recording studio, Jackman performs strenuous punches, growls, cries and makes other sound effects for Wolverine’s fight scene versus The Reavers.

After his stunt, he takes a deep breath and says “hi” to millions of his followers in his social media accounts.

Earlier last week, Jackman posted a clip of him leaving the set after filming his last reshoot for the film.

With the addition of the James Mangold-directed thriller, Jackman has already portrayed the feisty hero nine times in as many X-Men films.

In the film, which is set in 2029, Logan becomes a caretaker for sickly Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) while working as a limo driver at the Mexican border. But Logan realizes he has another mission to protect a 12-year-old from danger.

After 17 years of gruesome action scenes, Jackman also announced that he will hang his claws and retire from the blockbuster saga.

“I was very clear this was the last one when we were making it. I don’t think I could’ve made this movie unless I knew that,” he told BBC. “This was the version of the movie I wanted to make – and I was surprised the studio said yes – because I felt deep down we hadn’t fully cracked it.”

“Logan” is now showing in theaters worldwide.  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
