Piolo happy about ‘no label’ relationship with Shaina

When he recently admitted that he has been “exclusively” dating actress Shaina Magdayao, many were instantly curious as to the very discrete relationship of Piolo Pascual with the actress as his “five-year girlfriend.”

Upon Pascual’s announcement, the actress also immediately issued a clarifying statement via ABS-CBN’s “Tonight With Boy Abunda”, declaring that the actor could still date anyone he wants. She professed that she is just happy that the actor is part of her life.

At the recent press conference for “Northern Lights”, Pascual’s newest movie project, the actor said that he and Magdayao have talked about their status, and that their relationship is doing just fine.

“Shai and I, we talked about it. What’s important is what you say is true and sincere,” he said.

“Whatever we have, whatever we talked about, okay na ‘yun (That was okay),” Pascual added.

The actor also admitted that Magdayao’s statement has earned him a good deal of “bashers.”

“You know, there are some bashing[s], there are lots of comments and what’s good all about this is that we know what is true and we are okay,” he said. JB
