Alec Baldwin to co-write satirical book about Donald Trump
Alex Baldwin, known for playing United States President Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live, is set to co-write a satirical book about Trump.
Penguin Press announced via Facebook that it will publish the book, which Baldwin will co-write with Kurt Anderson, a novelist and public radio host.
The book, which is due to come out in November, will be titled “You Can’t Spell America Without Me: The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year as President Donald J. Trump”, as reported by the New York Times.
Aside from gaining praise for his impersonation of Trump, Baldwin has been known for his acclaimed film performances throughout the years, as in “Beetlejuice”, “Glengarry Glen Ross”, “The Hunt for Red October”, “The Departed”, “The Aviator” and “The Cooler”, to name a few. He has also done remarkable voice acting stints, such as in his narration of the cult comedy classic “The Royal Tenenbaums”.
Baldwin will read the audiobook version as Trump. JB
