Sexy actress Ellen Adarna vehemently denied rumors circulating that she and presidential son Sebastian “Baste” Duterte were high on drugs, as the two were seen groggy in a video uploaded by the actress herself.

The video, reposted on a Youtube channel by the handle LFMV last February 21, gained more than a hundred thousand views. It is titled “ELLEN ADARNA AND BASTE DUTERTE: SABOG NA SABOG” (Ellen Adarna and Baste Duterte extremely wasted).

The video sparked mixed reactions from netizens as to whether the actress and the presidential son, known for his anti-drug advocacy, were actually smoking weed.

The same video was published in a few more social media channels, including blogsite reddit.com with the title, “Video of Duterte’s son smoking a doobie surfaces”.

Ellen speaks

The actress finally broke her silence through an exclusive exchange of Facebook messages with the Philippine Entertainment Portal’s multimedia editor Rommel Llanes last Thursday (February 22).

She slammed the “stupid” allegations linking her and the president’s son to illegal drugs. She set it straight that they were simply both drunk in the video she uploaded.

“I wouldn’t post it online if it was weed. Hahaha. Sino bang tanga gagawa n’yan? (Who would be stupid enough to do such?)” she said.

“Not unless ma-legalize na medicinal weed [Lol.] (Not unless medicinal weed already gets legalized.),” she added.

Anak pa cya ni digong hajahajaj (Plus he is the son of Digong [laughs]),” said Ellen, referring to Baste’s father, President Duterte.

“Baste was smoking real cigarettes. It’s called IQOS from Japan. You can google it,” she added. “They can say whatever they [want to] say. We were both drunk.”

The actress simply laughed off the entire controversy, even joking about it as she quoted one of the President’s favorite expressions: “Hahahaah because i hate draaagss ajajajajahaha.”

Baka si trillanes nag pa isyu nyan ahahaa Lol (Maybe it’s Trillanes who made up that issue.),” Adarna retorted, in reference to Sen. Antonio Trillanes, one of President Duterte’s most notorious critics.

The actress has since said that she uploaded the video at the time she and Baste had broken up, to show people that she and Baste have no grudges against each other, and that they are now simply friends.

Dapat ganyan walang bitter. Move on ng masaya (It should be like this. Move on happy.),” she said in her original Instagram video post. JB
