For Solenn Heussaff, work remains a priority.

While she does hope to have children, now is not the right time for it, according to the model-actress. She explained that she wanted to take advantage of the various acting projects being offered to her of late.

“I could try in the near future, next year, perhaps. I have been getting lots of work these past two years, and I want to try everything,” Solenn told reporters at a recent press conference for GMA 7’s coming musical comedy show, “Full House Tonight” (Saturdays, starting Feb. 18).

“I am very happy, because despite not being entirely fluent in Filipino, I still manage to book jobs. That must mean I am doing something right,” she added.

Solenn, who has been married to her Argentine husband, Nico Bolzico, for almost a year now, also hosts the lifestyle program “Taste Buddies” and is part of the prime-time fantasy series “Encantadia 2016.” She is expected to do a film with Paulo Avelino next month.

“We are still young. Hello, buong buhay ko, I will be with him!” added the Kapuso star, who is amused by all the fans describing her marriage with Nico as “#CoupleGoals.” “We just laugh when some people tell us that,” related Solenn, who co-owns restaurants with her husband.

She does not see herself a natural comedian, so it still surprises her that she lands roles that require her to make the audience laugh, like last year’s “A1 Ko sa ’Yo.”

According to Solenn, it is a challenge so it is important to always keep an open mind—

and to not be afraid to make fun of herself.

“I am so excited to do “Full House Tonight,” because I know I will learn from my costars (led by Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and a slew of singers and comedians). “I do not mind if others make fun of me. Hindi naman ako maarte sa mga ganyan,” she stressed.
