Daniel Matsunaga’s sis Vanessa to Erich: Address money issue

Vanessa Matsunaga has broken her silence regarding her brother Daniel’s breakup with Erich Gonzales.

In an Instagram comment on Sunday captured by PEP.ph, the model-entrepreneur crafted a lengthy message to the Kapamilya (ABS-CBN) actress to disprove gossips about the whole Matsunaga family, seconds before Gonzales deactivated her account’s comments section.

“Daniel asked our family, friends, and fans to keep quiet and not fight back or even reply to any comments, but the truth is I can’t keep quiet when people are invading my privacy, asking us if we owe you money and saying that you are spending on us,” she elucidated.

She added, “I understand it’s hard to answer too many questions, but I honestly wish you had addressed the money issue.”

The Matsunaga sister, who is the wife of businessman Jun Sunga, reminded Gonzales of the memorable times she spent with the Matsunaga family.

She wrote, “Please look back at the good times. Remember, you were with us for two years, you were included in every family plan, trips, weddings. [We] took care of you and your family and took in consideration your preferences and watched over you.”

The whole Matsunaga family was affected by the rupture of couple’s relationship, as it had perceived the couple to be altar-bound and as an “inspiration” for other couples. “All I’m saying is [that] I’m very sad to see people defaming not only you and my brother but also my mom and family,” she said, adding that the Matsunaga clan continued to defend the actress from online haters.

“We all love you to the best of our abilities and with all our hearts.”

In the end, Vanessa said that she would give Gonzales her privacy and hoped that she would defend them in the same way that they defended her. She concluded, “Whatever it is we respect that and chose to give you your privacy. [So] please forgive me if you are receiving this message here, I would’ve sent this to your inbox but now my messages get to you as a spam…anyways, I’m asking you to please address this issue, people are calling us users, but you know best, and you know the truth.”

Last week, Gonzales, 26, told reporters that her two-year relationship with her “Be My Lady” leading man, 28, was over. Prior to the split, Matsunaga penned a comment that they were embattled over “personal issues.”

“Even after everything that happened between the two of us, we both respect each other and there is nothing like that…nonsense,” said Matsunaga.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
