Anime movie ‘Kuroko no Basket’ teams up with NBA
Basketball anime “Kuroko no Basket” will soon be getting a new film based on the eight-episode sequel series “Kuroko no Basket Extra Game”. It will be partnering with NBA as well for releasing original goods.
Crunchyroll reports that original author and film supervisor Tadatoshi Fujimaki picked out eight teams out of the 30 in the league for the collaboration. Starting February 1, a character illustration wearing one of the eight NBA uniforms will be drawn by Yoko Kikuchi, anime character designer, and will be posted daily on the website.
The first illustration to be released was that of Taiga Kagami wearing the Chicago Bulls uniform. The updates are also posted on the film’s official Twitter account.
“Kuroko no Basket Last Game” will premiere in Japan on March 18, 2017. Alfred Bayle
