‘PPAP’ singer Piko-Taro drops new single ‘I Like Orange Juice’

Piko-Taro is back in the limelight with a new ditty that’s freaking similar to its predecessor “Pen Pineapple Apple Pen,” or PPAP.

On Saturday, the Japanese character played by DJ Kosaka Daimaou released “I Like Orange Juice,” a minute-long jingle that professes Piko-Taro’s impish love for orange juice. As of Monday, the music clip has streamed 1.8 million times on YouTube.

Upon the release its release in September, “Pen Pineapple Apple Pen,” which has Piko Taro dancing to the tune, clad in leotard-printed outfit, made headlines across the globe. Since then, Piko Taro has attained stardom in his home country of Japan and inked advertising contracts with companies in Taiwan, Korea and France. He also guested in the Japanese franchise of “Sesame Street” and rocked to the PPAP-tuned “Cookie-Butter Choco-Cookie.”
