Disney has unveiled a magical snippet of Emma Watson chanting “Something There” for the “Beauty and the Beast” live-action remake.
On Friday, the film’s Facebook and Twitter pages featured the actress’ rendition of the story’s nostalgic track, which is played when Belle (Watson) and the Beast (Dan Stevens) dance together. The song, penned in 1991 for the animated film, is Watson and Stevens’ only duet in the upcoming film. Disney fans would be able to reminisce their innocent childhood memories with other songs in the movie’s playlist, including “For Evermore,” “Our Song Lives on” and “Days in the Sun.”
In a Facebook post last year, Watson, 26, revealed that she had taken singing lessons in preparation for her role. “It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I’ll get to dance to ‘Be Our Guest’ and sing ‘Something There,’” she wrote. “Six-year-old old self is on the ceiling – heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can’t wait for you to see it.”
