For many celebrities, the New Year signifies a fresh start and ushers in opportunities for new beginnings. It’s about making changes within themselves for the better.
Here are some stars’ resolutions for 2017:
Liza Soberano
I don’t have a resolution for myself. I want to do more charity work…to help more people in need.
Barbie Forteza
To be able to balance acting with school work—and have more patience at work. I also want to squeeze in more time to travel next year.

Bugoy Drilon
New Year is also my birthday (he was born Jan. 1, 1990)! I want to try something new in my music, because people always expect ballads from me. So, I’d like to try a fusion of R&B and reggae, for a change.
Elmo Magalona
In the last few months of the year, I didn’t watch what I ate. So, as cliché as it may sound, I want to be more careful with what I eat and go back to healthy eating.
Enchong Dee
My resolution is to not abuse myself and take care of myself more. Ang hirap kasi ’pag nagkakasakit e. Like, right now, I’m not feeling at the very best of my health, but I need to work. So, ’di ba, hassle kapag masama ang ’yong pakiramdam?
Janella Salvador
Pang-beauty queen ang sagot ko d’yan. I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions, because I believe every day is a chance to change.
Jolina Magdangal
We’ll focus on fixing our house and make time for it. We finished building it late this year, so we’ll fill it with everything it needs next year.
Yeng Constantino
Good health for the whole family. My New Year’s prayer is, whatever blessing I received from God in 2016, I hope He continues to shower me with it in 2017.
