WATCH: First trailer for ‘Blade Runner’ sequel released

It has been over 30 years since “Blade Runner” premiered, but at long last, the cult classic finds new life through a much-deserved sequel. And it looks like the first trailer for “Blade Runner 2049” shows promise.

The best part of the trailer would have to be the return of Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard. Ryan Gosling takes over the main role, however, as a new blade runner who has been tasked with tracking down Deckard. Ford’s character had been missing since the end of the first “Blade Runner” movie.

The trailer also reveals the movie premier date to be October 6, 2017. Alfred Bayle
