PH film wins in Delhi

Noriel Jarito’s feature film, “Huramentado (Oath to Die),” won the Jury Choice Award at the recently concluded Fifth Delhi International Film Festival in India.

The Filipino film competed in the World Cinema section with entries from Israel, Spain, Bulgaria and Azerbaijan, among others. The section aims to showcase the “best movies from across the world,” adding that “over the years…more than 50 countries” have participated in this program.—BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
