Christmas Memories: Mika dela Cruz

What is your most memorable holiday season? How do you intend to celebrate Christmas this year? My most memorable Christmas, so far, was last year’s Christmas celebration in Austria, where my grandparents live. It was a white Christmas. I enjoyed the donkey rides and the Christmas market! People in Austria love to celebrate Christmas as much as we do—in a “decorative” manner. Christmas decor and lights are in full parade during the holidays.

I was supposed to go there again this year, but I’ve got work to do. We have taping schedules for the show, so it’s going to be a working holiday for me. —Belle Bondoc-Roberto
