Christmas Memories: Tippy Dos Santos

What is your most memorable holiday season? How do you intend to celebrate Christmas this year?

My grandmother lives in Houston in the United States. In 2015, we were able to gather the entire family together there for the very first time. She passed away just one month ago, so it’s nice to know that her last Christmas was a very special one—a family affair I would never forget.

As for the gifts I plan to give this Christmas, I don’t know yet. But I’m fond of surprising my loved ones. I don’t ask them what they want; I try to listen to the things they say and see if they inadvertently drop hints. I take gifting seriously; I always make sure they’re always well-thought-out.—Allan Policarpio
