Maine: I still have a lot to learn

It has already been more than a year since Maine Mendoza shot to instant fame by way of her screen partnership with Alden Richards in “Eat Bulaga’s” kalyeserye segment. She has, thus far, starred in three films and graced numerous magazine covers. But to this day, she admitted that she was still trying to absorb everything that has been happening in her career.

“I think it’s safe to say that I am still in the process of familiarizing [myself about the biz],” the 21-year-old star said in an interview for her endorsement CDO Funtastyk Young Pork Tocino. “I still have a lot of things to learn, and I think it would take me a long time to get used to everything.”

Maine and Alden are part of the movie, “Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers,” in cameo roles, and is gearing up for a new project, which is still under wraps. “We’re currently working on something outside ‘Eat Bulaga,’ so they better watch for it,” she related. —ALLAN POLICARPIO
