TV host-actress Mariel Rodriguez on Wednesday shared a photo of her first baby with Robin Padilla, who is celebrating his 47th birthday.
Rodriguez took to Instagram to greet Padilla and wrote a special message for him as if it was coming from their newborn daughter Isabella.
“Dearest Daddy @robinhoodpadilla, happy happy birthday. I can’t wait to meet you,l dad!!! Mom says all these wonderful things about you… how much of a hero you truly are, how generous, kind, loving and compassionate you are,” Rodriguez wrote in the caption.
“If I inherit a few of your traits that already makes me one blessed girl. I promise to make you proud, dad (mom will make sure that happens ). I wish you the best of health so we can play and so that you can guide me in life. It is my honor to be raised by you. I love you dad. Happy birthday. Love, Maria Isabella De Padilla,” she added.
Rodriguez, who had suffered two miscarriages, gave birth to Isabella in the United States last Nov. 14. Padilla was unable to apply for a US visa after being convicted of illegal possession of firearms in 1994.

But the following day, Padilla was granted absolute pardon by President Rodrigo Duterte, restoring his civil and political rights including the right to travel and be issued a Philippine passport.

Rodriguez and Padilla tied the knot in India on Aug. 19, 2010. Padilla has six other children. YG
