WATCH: Disney screens ‘Beauty and the Beast’ official trailer
After several record-breaking teaser trailers this year, the ultimate “Beauty and the Beast” trailer is out.
The Disney film’s trailer, which has recognizable scenes from the 1991 animated classic, unfolds a timely tale of Belle (Emma Watson) and her peculiar love story with the Beast (Dan Stevens). Belle’s father, Maurice (Kevin Kline), was kidnapped by the Beast and sheltered at his decrepit palace. Belle sets out on an odyssey to find his father and stumbles onto the Beast’s mansion where her father is incarcerated.
“Belle, you must leave here,” he commands. “This castle is alive!”
Soon, the Beast offers Belle to replace her father in prison. Without hesitation, she agrees to the offer.
