ARJO ATAYDE at the launch of #AxeBlackArjo
One of the most promising young stars today, Arjo Atayde has finally admitted that he is seeing someone.
“I’m seeing someone, I can’t say dating. It’s hard to say, it’s more of a getting-to-know stage, knowing her more personally for now, and we’re friends,” Arjo’s answered when asked about his love life.
He admits that they have been going out together, and usually these are dining dates as he is a self-confessed foodie wanting to try out different restaurants, which serve as their bonding venues.
Admitting that he’s quite inspired at present, the “Ang Probinsyano” villain refused to give more details. “Hindi naman secret, but right now I want to keep a bit of privacy.”
His description of the girl is just this: “Simple siya, sobrang simple, mabait, easy to get along with, nakikipagbiruan—the usual traits a guy would look for.”
Another clue: “She’s from ABS,” referring to the TV network ABS-CBN.
The girl is also a “Bisaya” just like his mother, veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez, so they get along quite well.
As of now, he said, both of them are just enjoying each other’s company and not rushing anything.
Despite this, Arjo does not want to tag himself as on a dating status as “we [just] hang out once in a while [when] I find the time,” adding that with his busy life, “it’s hard to go to the next level.”
Along with his booming career, Arjo is busy being the newest ambassador of the male fragrance brand Axe, which launched its concept store last Nov. 11 in partnership with him. The shop, named #AxeBlackArjo, is located at Unit 27 of the Bar Apartment Bar + Cafe at the Bonifacio Global City. Clarizel Abanilla
