‘Game’ of misdirection

“Game of Thrones” fans have been seeing photos of possible spoilers regarding the show’s seventh season, set to air next year. But some are not convinced, saying that leaks or paparazzi shots of certain scenes being filmed were part of showrunners David Benioff and DB Weiss’ elaborate pranks before. So those snaps of Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke and Nathalie Emmanuel dressed in matching colors, and together in one location? We’ll see if those scenes really come to pass in 2017.

And what about those posters supposedly of Season 7 depicting the Night King with what looks like an ice dragon, and a separate one with Cersei sporting braided hair? Fan art, according to a representative of HBO Asia.

Bring it on, Jesse

Remember him from “Hackers,” “Romeo + Juliet” and “Bring It On”? Jesse Bradford, former child actor and teen star, grew up just fine, appearing in films such as 2006’s “Flags of Our Fathers” and the 2009 Hollywood remake of “Sigaw,” “The Echo,” opposite Iza Calzado. In recent years, he starred in the single-dad sitcom, “Guys with Kids” and the Marvel Cinematic Universe short film, “Item 47.” Now 37, Bradford continues to act, guest-starring in an episode of the Judd Apatow-created rom-com series, “Love,” early this year.

Little lady ‘Logan’

One of the new characters that will make its live-action debut in the new solo Wolverine film, “Logan,” is Laura, a mysterious girl played by Dafne Keen. In the “X-Men” comic books, she is code-named X-23, the female teenage clone and teammate of the wild mutant hero. Laura, who first appeared in the “X-Men: Evolution” cartoons in the early 2000s, also has six claws—two for each hand, and one for each foot. “Logan,” set for a March 2017 release, is Hugh Jackman’s ninth and last time to portray Wolverine.

‘Bucket list’ moment for Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande has just ticked an item off her bucket list: Collaborating with a legend—and it’s no less than Stevie Wonder.

In the recently released song, “Faith”—part of the official soundtrack of the coming animated movie, “Sing”—the two recording artists lend their formidable pipes in the upbeat and uplifting pop-gospel tune. “Beyond honored to be in this song with the incredible Stevie Wonder,” Ariana wrote in a recent tweet.

In an earlier guesting on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the 23-year-old pop star related what the experience was like being in the same studio as Stevie.

“We were holding hands, singing together, laughing, having a good time,” she said. “Every time I got comfortable with the fact that I was with him, he would hit a Stevie run, and I was like, oh sh*t, that’s Stevie Wonder!”

“I’m done now, I’m good—that’s it for me!” Ariana added.
