Alden Richards may be one of the biggest actors in the country, but he’s no different from the rest of us: He loves taking selfies too.
“Selfies capture life’s most unforgettable moments in a very spontaneous way,” Alden said at the recent launch of the F1s Limited of mobile brand Oppo, which tapped him as its newest endorser.
“I’m proud to be part of a family that celebrates those special moments,” he added.
The actor values how much selfies with him meant to his fans, that he has denied charging fees during meet-and-greets.
“Kung may nagpapalabas na nagbabayad ako para ma-meet ako, mayaman o mahirap, hindi po ako nagpapabayad para ma-meet ako,” he told the entertainment press earlier this year.
The actor also revealed that a teleserye featuring him and on-screen partner Maine Mendoza was a “big possibility.”
“It’s already in the works,” he said. “It’s going to be a surprise.”
Alden and Maine, also known as the popular “AlDub” tandem, last month exchanged vows in a televised mock wedding, delighting their “Kalyeserye” and “Eat Bulaga” fans.
The pair would be making a cameo appearance on “Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers,” an entry in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, as confirmed by Vic Sotto.
