Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are not the only Hollywood couples who have called it quits—Justin Bieber and Sofia Ritchie parted ways after just six weeks.
In a report by TMZ, Ritchie, 18, broke up with the “What Do You Mean?” singer, 22, and are now “finding other people to mingle with.”
The young couple was first seen holding hands at Laguna Beach, California, on Aug. 5. Soon after a “spark” occurred, and they traveled together to Japan and Mexico, where they celebrated Richie’s 18th birthday.
A source confirmed to E! News that the couple was “not ready” for a serious and grown-up relationship. “They were never officially together, but more casual hanging out and having fun,” the source gossiped.
Recently, Bieber deactivated his public Instagram account after his fans bashed Richie and flooded it with snake emojis. “I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate this is getting out of hand if you guys are real [ly] fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like,” he captioned a selfie with Richie.
Meanwhile, ex Selena Gomez defended his fans. “If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol – it should be special between you two only,” Gomez wrote in a comment on Bieber’s post. “Don’t be mad at your fans.
