Former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. walked his goddaughter actress Isabelle Daza down the aisle on her wedding to Adrien Semblat in Italy on Saturday.

Marcos stepped in for his friend and Daza’s father, Gabriel “Bong” Daza III, who passed away last July.

The former vice presidential candidate also posted a congratulatory message for Daza and Semblat on his Facebook page.

“What a happy day! All of us who love you have our hearts full of joy for you and Adrien on this happiest of days. I feel the warmth of your father Bong’s smile on us as we wish you all the love, happiness and success as you embark on your new life together as husband and wife. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Daza-Semblat #LoveFOREVER,” Marcos wrote.

Also present in the wedding were Daza’s friends including Anne Curtis, Solenn and Erwan Heussaff, Tim Yap, Raymond Gutierrez, Liz Uy, and Georgina Wilson, who previously dated Marcos’ nephew Borgy Manotoc. YG/JE/rga
