Some months ago, we wrote about the precocious stellar prospects of indubitably beatific offspring of some stars with pluperfect looks, like Sarah Lahbati and Richard Gutierrez’s Zion, and Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes’ Zia.

We even suggested, with unbecoming haste, that producers should already be lining up stellar TV or film showcases for them when they turn 3 or 4—which, based on the careers of former child superstars like Niño Muhlach and Aiza Seguerra, appears to be the “right” time for tomorrow’s stars to make their bid—today.

Thus far, Zion has been featured, to winsome and winning effect, on his clan’s reality TV show, “It Takes Gutz to Be a Gutierrez.”

FEATURED STORIES

Stellar bid

He’s turned out to be a natural performer, and his looks are exceptionally telegenic, with his Little Lord Fauntleroy curly locks and all. —So, will his stellar bid be “officially” launched by way of a TV special or film in 2017?

As for Zia, she’s younger and is still being given time to enjoy her baby and toddler years pretty much out of camera range. But, she has been featured in a TV commercial, so it’s likely that we’ll be seeing more of her soon.

What about a precocious showcase for Zion and Zia together? Hey, given the uniquely felicitous compatibility of their names, that’s a no-brainer. Nothing ickily gooey and pa-cute, please—just a simple story about two beatifically beautiful innocents having fun being kids. No need to gild the already lovely lily, viewers will embrace them warmly and lovingly—just the way they are.

Stars of tomorrow

Even more interestingly and auspiciously, this show biz year has seen the birth of other stellarly lovely babies—a veritable bumper crop of even younger stars of tomorrow!

There’s Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo’s Baby Luna—a vision of beauty, promise and delight even in infancy.

Also cute as a button is Lily Feather, the daughter of Isabel Oli and doting dad John Prats. And James Yap and Micaela Cazzola’s MJ should also have a great future ahead of him, in the biz or as a sports star.

Fact is, they’re just some of the new show biz angels who’ve come into the world in the past 12 months. And, there are “babies in waiting” raring to be born, courtesy of some still “infanticipating” actresses!

All this is par for our entertainment industry, with fans “historically” ready and eager to support the careers of the children of their top faves.

For instance, Pancho Magalona and Tita Duran begat Francis M, among others, and Francis and his wife Pia in turn “produced” many stellar children, including Elmo, most of whom have also become stars and starlets in the biz.

This is great for the Magalona, Padilla, Ilagan, Cruz, Revilla and Gutierrez clans, but tough for “unattached” hopefuls, who have to somehow make it—in an already SRO field!
