The fast-rising star said that regardless of nationality, if the artist, not naming any, has a similar music style, then he is open to collaborate with them in the future.

He was also asked about collaborating with Zion. T, a South Korean Hip Hop and R&B artist known popularly for his song “Yanghwa Bridge.”

According to DEAN, if in the future they would work together, he thinks the genre of their collaboration would most probably be the funky style since Zion. T’s style is dance R&B and funky.

As for his favorite collaboration, he firmly chose his work with Anderson .Paak, an American recording artist and music producer from Oxnard, California.

He said the rising artist (Anderson) was very enjoyable to work with.

Pokemon and long sleeves

Aside from music and songwriting, DEAN managed to evoke laughter from the audience when he chose his favorite Pokemon character and explained the reason behind always wearing long sleeves.

With the Pokemon Go craze taking the world by storm, it seems that even DEAN is smitten by Pokemon.

A member of the press asked him if given the chance to be a Pokemon, which one would he be. He cutely answered “Pikachu.”

He also revealed why he was always wearing long sleeves. Apparently, the singer is just fond of long sleeves.

Favorite song in “130 mood: TRBL”

“130 mood: TRBL” is the songwriter’s debut EP album with seven tracks. The whole album retells a story of a man falling for a 21-year-old girl and later suffering from heartbreak.

From this EP, he chose “21” as his favorite song since several genres are incorporated in that one song.

DEAN will be having his first Philippine promo tour later at SM North EDSA Skydome, where he will meet his Filipino fans for a mini showcase and fan signing.
