Matos strikes back, sprays urine on Geisler
Looks like these two heating bods are unstoppable, blazing away at each other as the nation counts hours to their much-awaited grudge fight on June 25 at the Valkyrie nightclub in Taguig City.
Despite contract conditions for peace before the fight, indie actors Baron Geisler and Kiko Matos couldn’t seem to get enough of each other.
At their official weigh-in at the Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) gym on Friday, Matos and Geisler put in yet another heated show as the former sprayed urine on the latter as a return gesture to Geisler’s kisses the last time they were presented to media last week.
As the weigh-in was going on between the two contenders for the exhibition bout, teasing began, as expected. Just when they faced each other for the cameras, Matos got a bottle spray from his back and sprayed his “urine” on Geisler’s face.
Matos was clearly heard saying, “Baron, inumin mo ihi ko.”
Trash talking then spiked up and ear-deafening insults were thrown left and right. They almost settled their ire at the gym but was quickly repelled by URCC matchmaker Ron Catunao.
After their highly amusing show, Baron spoke to air out his thoughts on Matos’ newest strike.
“Hindi ko alam kay Kiki Matos, hindi ko alam. Gusto niya lang mawala ‘ko sa focus, hindi ako magpapadala sa galit, nakita niyo naman siya yung nagtataunt sakin, so I just wanna finish. Hindi ako magpapatalo sa trash talking namin,” Geisler said.
Asked for his reaction that perhaps the urine shower was Matos’ answer to his “kiss” gesture during their contract signing for the fight, Geisler replied, “Kissed him first? I’m sorry could you rephrase that? I kissed him because he wanted it. He said anytime anywhere magkaharap kami eh he didn’t kiss me naman. O nung hinalikan ko nagustuhan naman niya.”
Geisler has always teased Matos about his sexuality and made it his main banter bullet against his half-Portuguese opponent.
“Very comfortable ako with my sexuality. So siya baka hindi, baka gusto niya talaga halikan ako. Sa video mukang (shrieking),” Geisler said.
Geisler vowed to rain blows on Matos during the fight. “Kung pinaulanan niya ko ihi today, pauulanan ko siya ng bigwas bukas.”
Matos admitted that he only does the things he does to tease Geisler.
“Well, masaya siya, nakakaexcite na sa laban, lahat naman to puro asaran lang din naman to eh, parang away bata lang. I’m sure hindi naman pinepersonal ni Baron yung mga ginagawa ko. Eh andami niyang sinasabi, ‘pag nagkikita kami an dami niyang ano, di sige, ako naman gantihan kami,” Matos said, laughing.
Asked why he sprayed his urine on Geisler, Matos said he just wanted to be the first to do a “badass” move before Geisler did his tricks again.
“Wala, pang-asar lang, ang akin lang bago niya ko maunahan, unahan ko na siya, like last week inunahan niya ko sa kiss, so ngayon, surprise. Wala na explain explain, ako tanggap ko naman na kiniss niya ko, tanggapin niya na inihian ko siya,” Matos said.
Matos also threw back Geisler’s claim that he was only showing Matos’ rudeness and impertinence with the things he did, saying he only gives him [Geisler] back whatever he first threw at him [Matos]. Matos clarified that at this point no one is considered right or wrong anymore and that he doesn’t care about people’s opinions. He will just have fun and definitely put on a show.
“Ilang ulit ba siya naging bastos, binabalik ko lang sa kanya. You see how he is, how he talks. Like what I said, I don’t think, at this point, na wala nang tama’t mali. Kanya-kanyang opinyon na lang, lalo ngayon with social media and everything, kung ano sabihin ng tao wala na rin ako pakialam, eh. I’m just gonna have fun na lang, coz most of the time I’m nervous when I think about the fight so now I’m just having fun.
Before they bid goodbye to each other on Friday, Matos left a message for Geisler. “Baron Geisler, an dami mo pa rin sinasabi, magkita tayo bukas, yun na lang. Llamado ‘ko pag dinaganan niya ko, amoy putok siya eh. Eh pag nasa ring hingal ka todo tapos maamoy mo yun, mapapa-tap out ka, wala ‘ko edge, lamang na lang si Baron dito.”
