‘Finding Dory’ swims through top of PH box office
Disney-Pixar’s “Finding Dory” smashed local box office records as it earned a gross of P101.7 million in just four days.
Walt Disney Philippines, the film’s distributor, announced that “Finding Dory” recorded the biggest opening weekend for any Disney-Pixar film.

The sequel to “Finding Nemo” in 2003 beat the previous record held by “Inside Out” in 2015, which garnered P97.2 million during its opening weekend.
Its opening day gross of P10.3 million also now holds the record for the highest first day take for any title released by either Disney or Pixar.

The film also ranked as the second best June opening, just behind “Jurassic World’s” $208.8 million.
