Derek Ramsay airs support for Vina Morales

Derek Ramsay, one of Vina Morales’ closest friends, expresses support for the actress in the case she filed against businessman Cedric Lee for forcibly detaining their 7-year-old daughter, Ceana.

He said: “I will always be here for Vina. I’m proud of what she has accomplished in show biz and in her personal life. I know her as a very emotional woman. She has so much love in her heart that she often gets hurt. It is also because of this that she is prone to committing mistakes. But Vina is a strong woman. She’s always able to handle trials that come her way—and she always comes out of them victorious.

“This issue with Ceana is very sensitive—it always is, especially because it involves a minor. It’s important to compromise. There should be an agreement between the two parties, who should think of what’s best for everyone.

“I’m also a father. I will do whatever it takes to protect my child. People might not see eye-to-eye on certain issues. They may get angry at each other, but this has to be overcome for the sake of the child. Vina should not care about what other people think and say. She should focus on the problem at hand.
