Culture Club concert on June 18 only
ORIGINALLY slated as a two-night event, the coming Manila concert of the 1980s British pop band Culture Club has been trimmed down to a one-night event, due to “logistical travel issues beyond their control.”
The show, mounted by Royal Chimes Concerts and Events, is now set on June 18 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. The promoter said that fans who had already purchased tickets to the June 17 concert could either have them refunded or exchanged to June 18 tickets (call 911-5555).
Led by Boy George, the eclectic group behind the smash hits, “Karma Chameleon,” “Love is Love” and “The War Song,” is currently on a 40-city world tour. “We love doing shows, especially in places we have never been in,” said Boy George at a video conference earlier this year.
