The welcome news popped out after British news site Mirror called Freya “Britain’s loneliest dog.” She had been rejected and passed over by previous owners for six years. She has resided in an animal shelter in Liverpool, UK, for six months and was overlooked by 18,720 visitors.

Bay announced the news on social media site Twitter.

Aside from a groundbreaking role in “Transformers: The Last Night”, which is set to shoot in the UK this year, Freya has bright prospects to find a more loving environment, as Bay will scout for a new home for the isolated pooch, or perhaps take her in as one of his own.
