Celebrity couple Heart Evangelista and Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero spent the weekend with Heart’s father Reynaldo Ongpauco in the City of Pines.
The couple bonded with Heart’s father after he opted not to join the couple’s Balesin trip last week.
In Balesin, Heart and Chiz were joined by Heart’s mother Cecilia Ongpauco, who celebrated her birthday there.
Heart’s parents initially did not approve of the actress’ relationship with the senator.
Reynaldo and Cecilia snubbed the wedding of their daughter last year. But three months after the wedding, Heart’s parents finally accepted Escudero into their family. AJH/JE/rga
