Jun Robles Lana’s “Anino sa Likod ng Buwan” will be screened at the 15th Transylvania International Film Festival in Romania, from May 27 to June 5. The fest’s website described the Filipino indie drama thus: This “political thriller…follows the fragile friendship of a couple, suspected as communists, with a military man.”

The film was previously shown at the Karlovy Vary, Hamburg, Singapore and Kerala fests. According to its website, the Romanian fest’s goal is to present “innovative and spectacular films…that feature both originality and freedom of expression, that reflect unusual cinematic language forms or focus on current trends in youth culture.” Bayani San Diego Jr.
