Coping up with Copeland’s first PH concert

Lead vocalist Aaron Marsh, lead guitarist Bryan Laurenson, backup vocalist and rhythm guitarist Stephen Laurenson, and drummer Jonathan Bucklew  – these four men who coalesce the American band Copeland staged a show at the Skydome at SM City North EDSA on Thursday night. The band did nit disappoint.

The Florida-based pop-rock group was warmly welcomed by hundreds of blissful fans who swarmed the event. The show, entitled “Copeland By Request”, is the band’s first-ever concert in the Philippines. It was organized by Pulp Live World Productions and cocktail company 28 Black.

The Filipino fans listened and sang along the tunes from Copeland’s 2014 Album “Ixora”, such as “I Can Make You Feel Young Again”, “Like A Lie”, “Erase”, and “Lavender”.

For nearly two hours, the atmosphere was filled with sweet music to Filipino fans’ ears. Marsh stunned the audience with his impressive skills in playing the guitar and piano while singing all the songs.

After the show, many fans yelled “We want more!”, signaling the band to return to the country for another concert.

Copeland’s Manila show is the first leg of their Southeast Asian concert tour. After hopping to the country, they will perform in Singapore and in Bandung, Indonesia.
