Nickelodeon announces ‘All That’ reunion show in April
Nineties kids will once again feel a sudden rush of nostalgia, as American television network Nickelodeon is set to air an All That reunion show sometime in April.
To celebrate the sketch-comedy and variety show’s 22nd anniversary, original cast members Danny Tamberelli, Kel Mitchell, Josh Server, Lori Beth Denberg and Kenan Thompson have agreed to film new and original segments together.
According to a 20- second promotional video from All That’s Facebook page, the cast will also discuss stories from their days on the classic kids show, which will be aired alongside an All That marathon on Nickelodeon’s archive show ‘The Splat’.
The multi-awarded Kid’s choice award winner was a staple of Nickelodeon’s Friday night lineup between between 1994 to 2005.
Article continues after this advertisementThe gag show provided a kid-friendly alternative to adult oriented variety series like Saturday Night Live and Mad TV.
Ironically, one of the show’s main stars ,Thompson, would go on to become an actual cast member of SNL during his adult years.
Nickelodeon has upped its efforts to restore previous programs over recent months, as fan favorites’ Hey Arnold! and Legends of the Hidden Temple are also set to make a return as TV movies.
