Lemuel Lorca’s lesbian-themed movie “Ned’s Project” is the best picture in this year’s CineFilipino Film Festival, the organizers announced on Saturday night during the awarding ceremony held at Kia Theatre, Cubao, Quezon City.
It also won the best production design and screenplay awards.
The film’s main star Angeli “National Treasure” Bayani took home the best actress award, together with Candy Pangilinan for the entry, “Star na si Van Damme Stallone.”

Pepe Herrera was declared best actor for “Sakaling Hindi Makarating.” The film also won best director for Ice Idanan, best cinematography, sound, musical score and editing.
