Paul Bettany directs ‘Shelter’

KNOWN to filmgoers as Jarvis/Vision in the Marvel movies, including the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War,” Paul Bettany makes his directorial debut in the film, “Shelter,” which he also scripted.
It’s about two homeless people, played by Jennifer Connelly (Bettany’s wife) and Anthony Mackie, and their harrowing struggle to survive.
Focolare at 50
The Focolare Movement celebrates its 50th year in Asia at 3:30 p.m. on March 14 at the Yuchengco Auditorium, De La Salle University, Taft ave., Manila.

Krissan Manikan
Krissan Manikan, a Filipino mezzo-soprano based in France, will be the featured soloist in Paco Park Presents on Friday, March 18.
She was a scholar of the French Embassy in Manila and George Yang’s Klassikal Music Foundation.

Sony Pictures’ inspiring film, “Miracles From Heaven,” has launched a website, www.shareyourmiracle.com, for viewers who want to share the miracles in their own lives.
Users can upload a photo, personalize it and share it on the website’s gallery. The film opens as a pre-Lenten season presentation on March 16.
