Bea Alonzo is PMPC Star Awards best actress; Piolo, Dennis tied for best actor
BEA Alonzo bagged the Movie Actress of the Year for the movie “A Second Chance” at the 32nd PMPC Star Awards for Movies held Sunday night at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasig.
Meanwhile, actors Piolo Pascual and Dennis Trillo clinched the top acting honors at the PMPC awards night.
Pascual was hailed Movie Actor of The Year for the movie “Silong” together with Trillo for “Felix Manalo.”

Indie movie director of the Year – Zig Dulay for “Bambanti”

Best Supporting Actor – Tirso Cruz III for “Honor Thy Father”
Movie Theme song of The Year – “Ang Sugo ng Diyos Mula Sa Mga Huling Araw” for “Felix Manalo”
Jarrold Tarrog – Editor of the Year for “Heneral Luna”
Benjamin Tolentino — Indie Editor of the Year for “Tandem”
Janella Salvador — New Movie Actress of The Year for “Haunted Mansion”
Marlo Mortel — New Movie Actor of the Year
Jerrold Tarrog — Best Movie Musical Scorer award for “Heneral Luna”
Mikko Quizon — Movie Sound Engineer of the Year for “Heneral Luna”
Jess Carlos — Indie Sound Engineer of the Year for “Silong”
Micko Laurente – Best Child Performer of The Year for indie film ”Bambanti”
PMPC also handed the Nora Aunor Ulirang Artista Lifetime Achievement Award to Amalia Fuentes while veteran director Mel Chionglo received the Ulirang Alagad ng Pelikula sa Likod ng Kamera Lifetime Achievement Award.
The first Love Team of The Year award went to Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
