Love, for Maine Mendoza, is doing things one usually doesn’t do, and having the willingness to sacrifice something important for a person.

But what’s Maine Mendoza like when in love?

“I love with all my heart, though at times, I do have reservations. Having a broken heart is tough,” the 20-year-old celebrity said in an interview for  CDO Funtastyk Young Pork Tocino, her latest endorsement.

The Internet sensation-turned-celebrity, who rose to fame through the “AlDub” love team with Alden Richards in the noontime show “Eat Bulaga’s” kalyeserye segment is barely seven months in show biz, but has already starred in a film, bagged several endorsements and graced covers of magazines.

While Maine admitted that being a public figure was tougher than she thought it would be, she gets by with the support of her fans. “It can be tiring, but I’m humbled. The fans are the best part of the job,” Maine said, adding that she still couldn’t believe that she’s now doing what she has always wanted to do. “I never thought I’d be here, so I’m thankful,” she added.
